A little taster of some of the things we got up to last year.

 We had a fab time at our annual Halloween party. Some excellent costumes were brought out and we ended up with not one, not two but three Bellatrix Lestranges. Good times, people, good times. The winner of our costume competition – for the second year in the row, no less – was Daimonde with her fabulous Fawkes costume. Congratulations! Read on to see some of our awesome photos. Happy Halloween, chaps! I know, it’s not Halloween until next Saturday, but obviously this week is the week in which every society expects you to dress up and come along for fun and frolics. And we’re no exception. So, this Tuesday, we’ll be in Koko Gorillaz in the heart of Cathays. I do believe [...]  If there’s one time of year when we get to geek out properly and dress up, it’s Halloween.  October 30th, 2007: Harry Halloween – For Halloween this year we gathered in fancy dress at the Woodville and caused a commotion with games such as the ‘Cake or Death Quiz’ and ‘Bellatrix and Trelawney Say’. The prize for best costume went to Lewis Kenealy who put on an impressive show as everyone’s favourite groundskeeper, Rubeus Hagrid.  Halloween fell on our normal meeting night this year, so we went out for another pub crawl – any excuse to get dressed up!  For Halloween 2005, the society went on a pub crawl (in costume, naturally). It may have been raining, but we did learn something: Muggles + alcohol = a potent combination. |
